    Job Description
    The Bachelor of Applied Science in Digital Filmmaking (BAS DF) is a practitioner-oriented, applied degree that will prepare students for a range of positions in the rapidly changing field of digital film, including jobs in video production, directing, cinematography, screenwriting, and acting. The degree will also prepare them for digital content production in a variety of industries, including jobs with branding, marketing, and advertising companies, businesses in any industry that creates digital content for training purposes, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

    The Manager for the Bachelor of Applied Science in Digital Filmmaking Program is a part-time exempt position – working 18 hours/week. The Manager will be responsible for a wide range of activities to ensure the success of the new program. Duties will include program outreach and recruitment, managing the student application process, maintaining program records and statistics, supporting program assessment and evaluation processes, and supporting and tracking employment placements. This position will work closely with program faculty and will report to the Dean of Social Science and Humanities.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University 
    • Two (2) years' experience in program oversight and or management
    • Basic Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
    Terms of Employment:
    This is a part-time administrative professional position paid at an hourly rate of $25.00 per hour.  The typical schedule is approximately 18 hours per week.  Flexibility in scheduling is needed to meet the demands of the department and division.
