Name: Eat Your Way Through Kitsap History
    Date: May 16, 2019
    Time: 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM PDT
    Event Description:
George Vancouver surely would have chosen a name other than “Foulweather Bluff” had he sailed by the northern point of Kitsap Peninsula today. Travel north with us to Hansville to visit two lovely gardens: a beautiful garden on Foulweather Bluff and another featuring mature rhododendrons and a knockout view a little farther south on the Hood Canal in Driftwood Key. As we enjoy lunch at the Hansville Community Center, we’ll hear Hansville history from Kitsap Heritage Family member Gary Erickson, descendant of original Hansville pioneers. Those who wish may come along after lunch to the small, well-tended Hansville cemetery with its own sweet garden and local history.
